Upgrading my self Hosting Cloud server
Im a regular linux guys so came up with an idea to implement my knowledge in AWS cloud , linode, and NAS in a way to self host the same service by using the resources I have at home came across an open source project CASAOS what is cacaos? you might ask : CasaOS is a system that lets you create your own cloud server with over 20 pre-installed docker based apps and 50+ community-verified apps from the app store. You can manage your files, share them across the network, protect your privacy data, and add disk and expand storage to your cloud server.it is a Linux based system... so I run it and install applications that I can Tunnel in it remotely for work, use apps or to send/retrieve my files from home.I run my own Help desk Ticketing system on it, my own version of github(GitTea),project management tools, system stats to monitor my system cpu remotely...self hosted up time robot to check websites status that I developed. This also helps me on my ongoing learning of Docker. The upgrade is mainly the resources, I need to buy a good PC or custom built one with a GPU as the one I have can be easily overheated its a mini lenovo thinkpad pc i5 with no GPU.
